Buy My House Anyone?
“Please buy my house” I was requested by a lady today. Although we laughed about it later she really did need to sell her house fast.
She had tried putting it on the open market for 7 months but with little interest. In fact, she only had 2 viewings in all that time. She needed to sell quickly as she is in the middle of relocating to be nearer to her elderly mother, but found selling on the open market just hopeless.
I hear this more and more, with home owners asking can you buy my house, as the housing market declines. Properties simply are not shifting in this current climate, and this trend looks set to get worse over the next 2 years.
Luckily I was able to help the lady, we agreed a price earlier this afternoon, and the paperwork has been emailed over to her. All being well the sale should be completed in 3 weeks, leaving her time free to sort out her relocation plans.
